theage.com.au is about to change ...

On Thursday, February 21, theage.com.au will look different.
We're changing because we've upgraded the software used to publish the site -
and taken the opportunity to make some improvements to the look and feel along the way.

Here is a quick snapshot of what to expect:

The traditional masthead is back
In fact the redesigned masthead appeared on The Age when the paper was relaunched on February 4. This is who we are, and we're proud to be taking 148 years of tradition into a new era.
Simpler navigation
The core menu opens and closes, based on which section you're in, to show sub-categories.
View a working example to find your favourite sections.

Site guide
If you're looking for that favourite item, there is an A to Z site guide.
